I wrote a review of the Nook app at the Apple Store today. Might as well add it here, too...

The Nook app is a great improvement over the old app for reading ebooks from your Barnes & Noble library.

Among the improvements is one I've suggested/requested in previous reviews -- the ability to adjust screen brightness within the app (instead of exiting to the device settings). Another new feature is the ability to sync your book progress with all devices on which you have Nook installed and Internet connectivity (Nook device with wi-fi, iPhone/Touch/Pad, Droid, Blackberry, computer, etc.). So far that feature is testing well between my iTouch and my Droid phone. I find the user interface to be far more intuitive and user friendly than the old app -- one screen displays both downloaded and downloadable books, appropriately labeled, and the shop button. Fewer taps to get where you want to be -- elegant in its simplicity. One more minor improvement -- samples and lendable books are labeled as such.

My experience accessing my library and the novel I had in progress has been seemless (unlike other reviewers). I'm not sure why my experience has been so different from other reviewers (different iOS on iTouch/Phone/Pad perhaps) but my experience has been completely positive.

A friend that is originally from Montana and now lives in Houston, as I do, gave me the link to your site because I am visiting Yellowstone for the first time next week. Even if I see only half as many things as you have in your site, I'll be so happy!! Your photos are gorgeous!!

I currently live in Texas but I am from Montana. I am looking forward to spending the next 3 weeks at Georgetown Lake. You photographs are fabulous. They are like a little piece of home to brighten my day.

I'm so impressed that you went camping alone. I just recently moved back to the mainland (California) from Hawaii and live near Sequoia National Park. I want to take a trip (or many) to Yosemite as well, just not sure about the camping alone thing? Haven't quite worked up to that yet. haha You got some amazing photos as well, congratulations. Yellowstone is one of my dream vacation destinations so hopefully I'll make it up there in the next year or so. Thanks for sharing all that you do, it's such a pleasure to follow your flickr account, I'm glad now to have discovered your blog as well. =)
