About Me
I am a sixth generation Montana girl. I am an avid observer of wildlife and nature. I’m a total Yellowstone National Park junkie. Other frequent stomping grounds are The National Bison Range, the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge and Glacier National Park. However, I can be found stomping around just about anywhere where natural beauty can be found.
I grew up in Anaconda, Montana and currently live in Lolo, Montana. I enjoy being minutes away from opportunities for natural photo ops.
I made a brief foray into the world of photography as a teenager then picked it up again about five years ago. I now spend as much time as I can, but not as much as I’d like, capturing images of nature. I enjoy shooting everything from panoramic landscapes to wildlife to super macros.
In the last couple years I’ve also become an avid birder. I’m still new to birding, still learning, don’t have a very long “life list” but I’m enjoying the process tremendously.

Katie.. in Big Sky
you are indeed rich in a way people will never understand.
I currently live in Texas but I am from Montana. I am looking forward to spending the next 3 weeks at Georgetown Lake. You photographs are fabulous. They are like a little piece of home to brighten my day.
A friend that is originally from Montana and now lives in Houston, as I do, gave me the link to your site because I am visiting Yellowstone for the first time next week. Even if I see only half as many things as you have in your site, I’ll be so happy!! Your photos are gorgeous!!
